DEL HUSE.

Roycian is led by Del Huse, a seasoned and proven private equity professional, having spent over two decades successfully advising on, and investing into, private company transactions in the UK and Europe.

Before founding Roycian in 2015, Del was Managing Director at Oakley Capital Private Equity, principally focused on new deal origination in the UK and European mid-market. Prior to that he led the London operation for special situations investment firm Endless LLP. Previously Del was an M&A Partner at Kroll Zolfo Cooper, having initially trained as a Chartered Accountant within the M&A division of Arthur Andersen in the mid-nineties.

An average golfer, a better cook, but a truly awful singer, Del enjoys watching and participating in a whole range of sports, but really loves nothing more than a barbeque in the sunshine with the family, with good music, good friends and some great red wine.

SAM GALUSZKA.

Del is supported day-to-day by Sam. Sam gained his ACCA qualified status at Grant Thornton in 2018, having spent four years in their commercial audit department. Sam went on to become a contractor for the best part of three years, gaining a variety of experience in projects involving financial planning and analysis, restructuring and monthly management reporting for clients such as Duff & Phelps. Sam is well equipped with an exposure to various businesses across multiple industries as an auditor, and has a true depth of understanding of how a finance function really works. Immediately prior to joining Roycian, Sam was the Finance Manager at a leading UK Science Park.

Sam is a keen 5-a-side footballer and Marvel fanatic, with an interest in science and maths. Sam has a natural entrepreneurial streak and has a real interest in investment and really getting to grips with what makes companies tick.

GILES DERRY.

The Roycian team is supported by Giles as our Senior Advisor. Giles has a vast experience in private equity with an outstanding track record, both as an investor and as the CEO of a private equity backed business.

Today Giles is the CEO of Blackrock Expert Services Group, where he led two private equity transactions and a trade sale to Kroll. Prior to taking a management role, Giles had 17 years of experience as a successful private equity investor, initially at SandAire Private Equity and then as a Partner at leading UK private equity house Dunedin. During that time, he led investments across a wide range of industries.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, having qualified at Arthur Andersen where he obtained a broad base of experience including audit, consulting and corporate finance advisory, and is also a former Chairman of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the ICAEW.

Giles has a love for anything involving speed! Mountain bikes, road bikes, cars and skis are all passions. When he is not moving at speed himself, Giles can be found with the family, cooking, eating or even tending to his hive of honey bees.

Simon WHITE.

The Roycian team is further supported by Simon as a Senior Advisor and member of the investment committee.

Simon has over 35 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance, having led over £800million of direct investments and a broad spectrum of transactions in the same region and size range as that targeted by Roycian.

He is also an experienced Managing Director, Chairman and Non-Executive Director of private companies.

Simon has operated in the Southern deals market for 25 years with Deloitte, BDO and his own fund as a founder of Altitude Partners, a private equity fund based in Southampton. Altitude delivered a top decile fund performance for its private investor base through investments in private companies in Southern England.

Simon is a keen dinghy sailor, cyclist and a very average photographer.
